As I had a virus, I've been obliged to "repair" my installation of Windows XP
Pro.
After doing it, I discovered I was running IE6.
I so downloaded IE7, and installed it
I did it, without any error message, and restarted my system at the end of
each installation procedure.
the problem is that when I start IE... i'm still running IE6.

I did 3 times the same operation (first time with an already downloaded
installation file, second time with download directly from Microsoft site and
executing all necessairy updates, 3rd time with download from MS site,
without necessary preliminary updates).... and I'm still with IE6
Does anybody have an idea of what it comes from, and how to cure that?

Did you do a Repair Install or did you format & reinstall Windows?
