Hey all,

Everytime I open IE after logging off my homepage is set to
http://bux.to/?r=carbotpc and the homepage under the Tools-->Options menu is
disabled.

I have found registry settings that make the homepage editable once again
but how do I find what is causing this issue?

I have symantec anti-virus, windows defender, ad-aware and spybot all
running and none of them are coming back with any malware notifications.

I also tried installing SP 3 for XP but ended up in an endless reboot
screen. I was forced to head into safe mode and remove SP3.

I have searched the registry for anything with "bux" in the title with no
luck either.

I was running IE 6.0 and have upgraded to version 7 but that didn't solve
anything either.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
TJ
