I have configured my IE to Proxy Server for internet access including FTP
access.
Web access works fine but FTP access doesn't go thru the proxy server
instead it reaches gateway and connects. When I deselected the option "Enable
Folder View for FTP Sites" under Tools-Options-Advanced, FTP connection goes
thru the proxy server but I can only view contents of the FTP server, can't
upload the files to FTP server.
What's is wrong? Can anyone explain me these features in details.

Thanks

Always state your IE version and full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3;
Vista SP1) when posting to this newsgroup, please.
