If I close IE7B with more than one tab open I get an error ".....unknown
software execption (0x0eedfade)...." then I click on OK then I get another
error "Runtime error 217 0279F382"  Then my computer locks up and I need to
CTRL-ALT-DEL end task the issue.  Is anyone else having this issue or can
someone help me fix this issue.  Thanks - Tom

Check for Virus

Try disabling all Add-Ons and re-add individually to track down one that may
be causing the issue

You might also try this to end the application when it doesn't respond

How To Automatically close non-responsive programs
When an application crashes, it stops responding and we have to end task it
manually through the task manager. By this tweak one can automatically close
any application that has stopped responding.

1]Start>Run>Regedit>OK

2]Now navigate to the following location:-
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\ Desktop

Highlight Desktop,on the right pane of the Registry Editor you will find
REG_SZ entry AutoEndTasks

3]Right click on it and select Modify. Change the value data to 1.The
default value data is 0.Click OK and close the Registry Editor.

4]Restart the System.

I am getting a similar error.  It reads
Runtime error at 025FFD29 for ieexplorer.exe and began after I installed
Norton Internet Security 2007.  How do I turn off add ons so that I can tell
if the fraud monitoring that comes with Norton is the problem???

Version 7 of IE
1) Right click the IE desktop icon and select start without add-ons
2) Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Manage Add-ons select to disable the
add-ons

Version 6 of IE
Use the 2nd option given above
