Firefox and Opera have been doing it, but IE is still VERY weak in this area.
IE needs the ability to set a master password and then a GUI to manage all
the passwords we want it to remember and not remember. Not having a master
password is not secure at all! Anyone can jump on a PC and through trial and
error find which letter or number brings up the username/password info.
I'm an IT person and I had to research on how to use AutoComplete just to
find out how to remove a single password entry verses wiping them all out
with the Clear Passwords button. Not very user friendly.
I personally use RoboForm 4.68 (the older free edition). You can still find
it floating around the web. Been using it for about 4 years and it's still
the best.
Best password, login, info manager out there - imho.

I agree that RoboForm is excellent. I've used it for years. Rick
