Is this normal?

Yeah..., the only way I could use "RUN", was to type RUN in the search
window, then it came up.  Must be "hidden" somewhere.

The only way I got it to work, was to enter RUN under the search dialog box.
Then it came up.  Must be hidden somewhere.

Right Click on Taskbar and select Properties
Click on Start Menu
Click on Customize
Click on Advanced Tab
Check Run
Click Ok
Click Apply
Click Ok

See if that helps.

If not using classic start menu in XP, it won't show.

I'm not on the Vista Forum.  I'm on the Internet Explorer Forum.

Are you able to apply any of the steps I listed to your Vista Platform?  If
so, it will work.

Vista
To add the Run command to the Start menu

1.  Open Taskbar and Start menu properties by clicking the Start button ,
clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then
clicking Taskbar and Start Menu.

2.  Click the Start menu tab, and then click Customize.

3.  In the list, select the Run command check box, and then click OK.
