Thank you for the prompt reply. It worked! I'd really like to return to V7
once the compatibility issues with various website features are resolved.

Many of the problems with sites not rendering as expected are because
webmasters have not (yet) updated their code to take account of the fact
that IE7 conforms more closely to CSS standards than IE6 and the code hacks
used for IE6 don't work for IE 7.

Understand that the websites are the problem, not IE7 Beta3, Gordon.

Uninstall doesn't work on my system for V7, although it does work for other
programs. But for IE V7, in add/remove programs, all I can select is, "Click
here for support information" Have they disabled my ability to remove the
program??

If you installed Service Pack 3 after you installed IE 7 you have to
uninstall SP 3 first before you can uninstall IE 7.
P.S. It's called Windows Internet Explorer now, not Microsoft Internet
Explorer like in the old days. Maybe they thought that if they got rid
of "Microsoft" people would forget who created IE 7.

Damn Microsoft! Now we will be faced with people unable to distinguish
between the web browser ("Windows Internet Explorer") and the file manager
("Windows Explorer"). Along with the "Outlook/Outlook Express", and "Windows
Mail/Windows Live Mail" confusion.
