The latest Flash Player is 9.0.16 for Internet Explorer.

I have the same problem. Installed Flash9 but it still keeps crashing
Internet Explorer 7. It crashes randomly but is seriously getting beyond a
joke. Here is the crash message that appears in the Event Log:
