Question: Upon installing the IE7, whenever I click on a link, a clicking sound is made. How do I turn this sound off? I've search all the options/settings dialogs and the help system. Feedback: do not make "clicking sounds on" the default - they are very annoying. Thanks. In your 'Sounds and audio devices properties' settings in Control Panel, scroll to the 'Windows Explorer' sounds and deselect 'Start navigation'. That should do it. For instance i watch a movie in Winamp and ever 45 min or so i get this clicky noise as if i am doing something when i am not. VERY ANNOYING but this might have fixed it hopefully.
