Hi Jack,

Check you tabbed browsing settings - Internet Options - General tab - Tabbed
Browsing Dialog

Open links from other programs in: A new tab in the current window.

The Open in New tab context menu should then be available when you right
click on a web link.

To open a favorites link from your Links toolbar in a new tab, hold down the
control (Ctrl) key while you click the shortcut.

Regards.

There should already be an "Open in New Tab" on your right-click menu.  I've
heard that the Google Toolbar can cause it to disappear.  You can still
middle-click links to open them in a new tab, however.

running IE in (No Add Ons) mode too, but still no tabs.

I have no problem with opening a link in a new tab, but it p****s me off
that the new tab does not automatically come to the front as it does in other
tabbed browsers e.g. Opera. I have to click on the new tab to bring it to the
front. Is there any plan to fix this?

If IE 7..tools Internet Options..Tabbed Browsing..check box for Always
switch to New Tabs when created!!
There..see you fixed it!
