I just downloaded IE7 and when I click on the icon to surf the internet, I get a blue screen and an error diolog box that states Line: 56 Char: 2 Error: 'window.external' is null or not an object. Code: 0 URL: http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx The IE7 address box has the above URL address in it. I try to refresh the screen, but I get the same error dialog box. I know what a mouse is and I know what a keyboard is, but I do not know what a null or object is. How do I fix this? Anyone know? It seems to be a botched post install feature that’s supposed to save settings to an xml file, I think. I’ve seen a few work a rounds that require changing or adding settings to the registry but I think I’ll wait till they get it right.
