IE7 is so much slower than IE6. Everytime I try to open a new tab, my whole computer slows down. IE6 was much faster Do a Defrag and reboot when you're done. P.S. Nothing connected - no printers, scanners, external drives, etc. The ONLY thing I have added to that install is SP2 and then all the windows update site recommendations. I then installed IE7. For three days, every time I open IE7 my HD begins to grind (and doesn't stop until I close IE)and my CPU usage is as illustrated thus: http://darienart.com/ie7.jpg There is even considerable internet activity. So - I just finished installing Firefox 2.
