Task Manager issues since downloading IE7

Since I downloaded IE7 I've had numerous problems with web sites going into
"not responding" status. When I open the Task Manager I am able to end the
task but all of the tabs at the top are missing and I cannot close the Task
Manager without restarting my computer because the red X box is also gone.

I've tried everything I can think of to correct but nothing works. HELP!

Task Manager Menu Bar and Tabs Are Not Visible in Windows XP

This behavior may occur if Task Manager is running in Tiny Footprint mode. If you
double-click the empty space in the border around the tabs, Task Manager switches to
this mode.
To switch Task Manager to its typical display mode, double-click the top border of
the window.

2. Slow Start Up / Crashes or Hangs / Starts then Vanishes / Websites blocks / Slow
Page Rendering / Error message about PSAPI.DLL

Thanks for your help! That fixed the task bar problem.
