If the same thing happens when using a competitive browser, two things
might cause this:
1) the page is gone.
2) the page author is a moron.
In both cases, contact the site owner.

The message you are seeing is what is known as a "friendly" HTTP
error message. It's possible that the site is actually sending much
more information than that in some HTML with that 404 response.
Try unchecking the "Show friendly HTTP error messages" option
(in Options, Advanced tab, Browsing section) to see if there is in fact
more information available than IE7's boilerplate explanation about
HTTP error messages.
Good luck
