Since I installed IE7, I get the same two error messages EVERY time I close
IE7 with two or more tabs in use.  They are:

iexplore.exe - Application error
The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the
application at location 0x7c812a5b.

Error
Runtime error 217 at 0467FB66

If someone can get through to MS, I'd love to have this fixed.  It's most
annoying.

Hi,
Does this happen if you disable all add-ons from IE> Tools> Manage add-ons?
You can also access Manage add-ons from Control Panel> Internet Options>
Programs.

You may have an incompatible add-on.
See:

for troubleshooting information.

I've seen one report that Norton Antivirus was causing this. Uninstalling
NAV2006 was the cure.

Would the info below work for all those types of errors?

I am getting:
iexplore.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x6669b97" referencd memory at "0x00000074". The memory
could not be "read".
click on OK to terminate the program.

Scott

Hi,

I tried the manage add ons and it has stopped the error message.  I found
that I was getting the error with Skype and Sun Microsystems add ons.

Many Thanks for your great advice!!

Tru.
