I AM legal, but after spending £100 on my legal version of windows, what do
you advise i do when the WGA incorrectly identifies me as having stolen
software?
It's not on more Microsoft to make mistakes like this on paying customers.

Just search for "Bypass WGA" - there are many links - and contrary to
popular belief, you won't get any crashes or any other crap by doing it. I
too have legal versions and have become disenchanted with the errors and
problems associated with the WGA so I have bypassed it completely for both
XP and Vista and have YET to have an issue related to same. No problem with
updates, etc.
