Frank: THANK YOU, it removed the bar, THANK YOU!! Since you're one for one
now, how about one more question. I installed Norton Internet Security 2007
in an attempt to stop all the pop-ups that claim I have infections. I've run
the program and found nothing wrong, but I'm still getting Security Alerts
from the task bar. Is there something out there that can help me to stop
these pop-ups from coming?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Bob

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
