How can I stop the continuous  automatic scrolling that occurs when I move my
mouse wheel up or down one click?  I'm using a Logitech wireless mouse that
doesn't seem to have any settings that could affect this.

Look for updated drivers (software) for your Logitech mouse.

How very, very stupid of me not to think of this. (It fixed my problem.)
THANX, Vincenzo.

Hi Jack:

Have you installed Logitech's SetPoint software? That's where you'll
find a setting for automatic scrolling.
