Hi I have tried all the solutions on here that relate to the Red X Box's apearing i Internet Explorer 7. I do not have this issue with my XP only on a New Lap top already configured ( just out of the box 3 Weeks ) with Windows Vista. I have tried to change the settings in the internet explorer tools internet explorer advanced tab and it is set for show pictures ? Any other suggestions ? After checking out many sites and fixes from this site to no avail. I have now reloaded the whole system, back from the restore disk supplied with the laptop and all is fixed. I have to assume that there is another way to eradicate the red x on Vista laptops with IE 7 right out of the box.
