Hi,
When I run internet explorer 7, I get a pop-up screen that says "HTTP
Authentication requires a username and password". Then it says "The server is
requesting your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (Basic
authentication without a secure connection)." IT's basically a box that is
asking me to logon.

I reset all the security settings in IE7 back to default. All web pages that
I tried to go to gives me this popup message. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Mitch

It sounds like you ticked the secure connection capability.

So, is there any way to turn off (preferrably temporarily and/or on-demand)
this secure connection capability?
