Web browser and FTP Issue

Hello everyone,

I hope someone can help me on this matter.

When I attempt to open an FTP site in my web browser, I get a 'cannot
display page' error. I've started a packet capture on my machine and I see
that the browser tends to switch to PASV mode by sending the command over to
the server.

Currently (with the setup on the network), only Active mode will work and
I've tried different FTP clients, including cmd's FTP, and they connect
successfully.

I've checked the box in IE Advanced Settings to 'Enable FTP Folder View' -
because that's what's documented for having IE use Active mode.

Now even though I can connect through the FTP clients, I would like a way to
have IE open the site as well. Is there anyone who could assist me?

Thanks,

Ali
