When users try to print, they will intermittently end up with a crash in
MSHTML.DLL.  They are all using IE7.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello, I'm sorry about the late response to this.  The user and I have been
unable to get in touch with eachother until recently.

I have read through the linked response and it was unfortunately not
helpful.  The scripting engine has been reinstalled, and these DLL's have
been re-registered:

Comdlg32.dll
Msjava.dll
Actxprxy.dll
Oleaut32.dll
Mshtml.dll
Browseui.dll
Shdocvw.dll

javascript:navigator.appMinorVersion returns a 0.

Just to note, this has been occuring on an XPSP2 system with IE7.

It appears that there was a problem with Comdlg32.dll, but nothing else.

I was unable to follow the news links, as I don't have news access, and the
other link links to a Google Groups search about Comdlg32.dll.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to glean any sort of commonality or
information from this link, other than there are problems with Comdlg32.dll.
Either way, as the file also cannot be registered on my test machine which
does NOT have the problem, it doesn't seem like it is pertinent.

Are there any other suggestions?
