I accidentally unchecked the "Always ask before opening this type of file"
checkbox when downloading a file using IE.  I wanted to know how I could undo
that move? P.S. I am using windows Vista

Hello,

have you had experience with the Registry? Then do the following steps:
Type regedit.exe into Run... --> go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\AttachmentExecute
There should be a key folder {0002DF01-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} - the
one created by Internet Explorer.
You will find the file extension that has been allowed, and you can delete
it.

Feel free to ask if it's unclear.

Greetings,
P. Di Stolfo
