Internet explorer 7 has quit working.  It is giving an error message
dnsframe.dll error.  Any one know what the error is and how to get around it.

Would you look in the Application Log for the Exact Error message and post it?

1) Have you tried No Add-ons Mode?  Right click on the IE desktop icon and
select start without addons.  Does the behavior persist?

2) Have you tried a browser reset?  Tools>Internet Options>Advanced
Tab>Reset Button

1. Click Start, click Run, type netsh winsock reset, and then click OK.
2. When the Command Prompt flashes, restart the computer.

You may have to reinstall software that access or monitor the internet such
as antivirus/firewall programs and proxy clients.  If any or all no longer
function after the reset above, reinstall them.
