So, i've seen a couple other people who first have internet explorer ask if
its alright to install the activex control, and so do i. if ie7 was nice, it
would just do it, but for some reason, it sends me the bar saying 'your
security settings do not allow websites to use ActiveX controls installed on
your computer. This page may not display correctly. click here for
options...' so i adjust my security settings, i add some pages to the
trusted pages area, and still, nadda, i get nothin. for example, i just want
to install flash.. but i can't, i add adobe to my trusted sites list, and
still get nothing, any ideas? i have vista premium and ie7

ActiveX controls are often used by malicious software. Fortunately,
Internet Explorer now alerts you whenever a web site wants to install a
new ActiveX control so you can have the opportunity to prevent the
installation if you don't recognize or trust the source.

Yes, i realize the purpose of it, but i'm trying to install useful things
that i've always had.. i had just done a clean install of windows and i'm
trying to set everything back up, so i need things like Adobe Flash
downloaded in, but it won't let me, regardless of what settings I try.
