Ever since the last batch of Microsoft updates rolled out last week, I've had
the following problem with two separate computers. I get logged out of Yahoo,
as well as other sites, within about 20 minutes. I've tried setting the IE
cookie setting to the lowest, even put in yahoo as always accept cookies from
this site. None of the sites I visit are keeping any cookie type info. I
don't believe any other programs are interfering, because I downloaded
Netscape and it keeps me signed in just fine. BTW, I'm running XP Home. Any
help or suggestions would be appreciated.

What other programs are installed?

Make certain your time, date, and time *zone* settings are all correct.

One computer is  a laptop. One is a desktop. Very few programs in common
other than Microsoft Office 2003, and CA Internet security. All time zones
etc have been checked. I havent had these problems UNTIL the June Microsoft
updates were installed. If another program or whatever was interfering, then
I would presume Netscape shouldnt work either. Any other ideas?

Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode?  To start
IE7 in No Add-ons mode:

1. Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons;

2. Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer
(No add-ons).

Does the problem persist if you Reset IE7 Settings (RIES)?

Do you have any programs like RegClean, CCleaner or similar that are
configured to load at boot?

Nothing lie that on either system. I do use CA Internet secuity, though I
disabled that just to check to see if the problem persisted... (it did)
