hi

I get the following errors repeatedly and the IE browser closes with the
error msg.

AppName:Iexplorer    AppVer: 7.0.6000.1643  ModVer: 0.00.0  Offset: 06b8d891
ModName: unk

What does this mean and how do I get rid of it?

Thanks

Are you using XP or Vista?

1) Clear all cache files - Tools>Internet Options>General Tab
Click on the Delete Button under Browsing History
Click on Delete All Button (this will clear all saved passwords as well)
Click Close
Click Ok
Close IE window

2) Right click IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons.  Does the
behavior still persist?

3) If the above does not work, try a browser reset.  Tools>Internet
Options>Advanced Tab>Reset Button

hi

I use WindowsXP. I tried to find your second suggestion i.e.: right click
desktop IE icon Select start without add-ons? i could not find this option.

Also everytime i try to change the home page and then try to apply the
settings my F-Secure anti-virus etc. dispalys a window which indicates
"possible browser hijack- blocked." and the applied changes to the home page
are not "applied"!

Otherwise i think its ok now.

thanks
