no sound!

hi
windows vista

for some reason i cant hear any videos or sounds on ei7 , i was watching
videos the other day and it worked perfectly. and today i cant hear anything.
anyone who can help me with this??

Have you checked your sound card and driver? Are you using Run As
Administrator?

Have you added any software updates lately? What DVD/CD software are you
using? Roxio? Nero?
