I upgraded my son's machine to IE7.  Unfortunately, there is no indication
(sight or message) that it worked or didn't.  Nothing shows in the window.
Does anyone know why?

Open Internet Explorer, click on Help, click on About Internet Explorer.

Hi,
Well, IE7 is installed. If you never saw the "runonce" configuration page,
see "Problem: IE always goes to http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx instead
of your homepage" at
http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp

You may have to run the REG file from each user account.

If you're still seeing a blank page after dealing with the runonce problem,
try the Reset button in Internet Options> Advanced. Note that this will
delete stored (autocomplete) passwords. Do you have those recorded
elsewhere?

What else the Reset button will do...
923737- How to use Reset Internet Explorer Settings (RIES):
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737/en-us

If resetting IE settings helps, you may still have to re-enable browser
add-ons individually to see if a troublesome one is found.
See: http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp

Hope this helps,
Don
