I seem to have 'stretched out' my bottom scroll bar by accidentally holding
down and dragging the mouse buttons, and now my internet page is too wide on
some sites. How can I reset my scroll bar to its default width?

Hmmm...
You can't overstretch a scroll bar. Just make your browser frame
smaller. (Point the mouse at the edge of a side until it turns into a
double arrow and resize your browser.)

Hello,
additionally to what Leonard Grey said, you could use your IE maximized
(which I always do, I don't like web content to be cut off by a window ;).

I'm not clear what you're seeing. I sounds like you have a normal mode
window which needs to be resized.
In addition to using the mouse and dragging on a side to do that
(which may not always be convenient or even possible) be aware
that you can initiate a resize of normal mode windows by using a window's
command menu (e.g. press Alt-Space,S) and then either use your mouse
or the keyboard cursor keys to reshape the window. The same menu
is available in the window's taskbar icon via right-click, etc.
For more general resizing operations you can use the Taskbar's
Cascade and Tile commands. E.g. minimize all windows except
the ones you want involved in those operations and then right-click
on a blank area of the Taskbar and use one those commands on them.
Note that tiling a single window has the useful property of maximally
sizing the window in its normal mode. Perhaps that is what you're
looking for?
