I recently got satellite internet.  I put in a router so that I can use other
computers to access the internet.  The main computer and a laptop work just
fine with IE7.  The other PC (running Windows XP SP2) will NOT connect to the
internet with IE7, it WILL connect with Firefox.  Because it won't connect
with IE7 I cannot use that PC for certain things, ex. I-tunes.  Also, I
cannot update my Windows manually.  It does, mysteriously, update my Windows
automatically.  Everything else on that PC works just fine.  The only thing
I've tried is to uninstall and reinstall IE and to "reset" it.  Neither
worked.  The computer used to operate fine in dial-up.
Thanks for any suggestions.

If that doesn't give me a fix I'll give in and go to a professional.  Thanks
for the prompt and thorough reply.
