for confidential business work reasons, I always delete browsing history on
end of every day by using tools, internet options, and select delete browsing
history and pick button that says delete all. I never had problem with that
until today. yesterday, I used button that said delete all and today, when I
type www.----------.com, the name of website automatically came up on
hyperlink bar!!! Never happend to me before. So I used tools, internet
options, and select delete browsing history and pick button that says delete
all and then closed the Internet Explorer 7 and then reopened it, typing the
same website addess and the web address automatically popped in before I
finished typing!!!!  PLEASE HELP as I would like to delete confidential
browsing hisotry every night. Thanks.

Hi,
Try this...
1. Go to Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing, uncheck Use inline
AutoComplete
2. Go to Internet Options> Content> Autocomplete, uncheck Web addresses
3. Clear the History

Is the OS Windows XP or Vista?

Hope this helps,
Don
