I know It's possible to drag an icon from the addres bar to the toolbar, I
did it on my old computer. I havent been able to do it on my new Gateway
w/vista. Is there a trick or a setting I need to change. I want my new
toolbar to look like my old one. Can I transfer my old toolbar settings on
XP to this computer. I am NOT impressed with Vista so far. I think its harder
to find things.

I'm going to make two guesses:
1 - You're asking a question about Internet Explorer 7.
2 - When you say "toolbar" without specifying what toolbar you're
talking about, you are referring to the Links bar.
First make the Links toolbar visible: Right click on a blank spot on the
Command bar and put a checkmark next to Links.
Now drag the icon from the Address bar to a blank spot anywhere to the
right of the word Links.
In future when posting to this (or any other) self-help newsgroup,
please include enough detail in your question so we don't have to guess
at what you mean.

Still works for me.
You do have the Links bar showing, don't you? You needed it showing to do
that in IE6, too.
