Hi all,

I've got a little (in fact big) problem with IE7 under XP SP2.
Before upgrading to ie7, I was using IE6 with the TIF folder change to
D:\Temporary Internet Files.
After the update to IE7, I've received the error message of the navcancl.dll
I've search around and find the workaround for it at this link :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937409/en-us
So I've changed the location of the TIF to a new one, "Dossiers Internet
Temporaire" in french in the text

It was working for 2 days and now, and I don't know why, the TIF folder is :

1. relinked to Documents & settings\user\local
2. relinked to nothing.
3. And even the amount of size can't be changed.

I'm loosing myself. Really need help !

Thx

Workarounds:
Method 1: Move the "Temporary Internet Files" folder back to its original
location (typically C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files)

Method 2: Grant permissions to the "Temporary Internet Files" folder (Vista)

Are you trying to do it with other apps open which want to use it?
(E.g.  IE  OE  and others.)

Try closing all apps including  iexplore.exe  (e.g. verify with Task Manager's
Processes tab that it isn't running.)   If necessary you can also use
Process Explorer  (SysInternals tool now distributed by TechNet)
and check what all has handles open containing  Content.IE5.
Then start  Internet Options  from the Control Panel
(or  Run...  control inetcpl.cpl)
