When trying to open a PDF document on a secure website, There is a pop up
saying it will take a couple of minutes to generate page, page will refresh
into another tab, then nothing but a blank page when status download bar at
bottom of IE7 is finished. I have netscape navigater as a browser as well and
I have no problems generating PDF'S with the same web site, I am using MCafee
Internet security, But still have no problems with Netscape, Only in IE7 .
Can someone point me in the right direction. I am totally baffled, even with
addons disabled, and a process of elimination, I still get the same issue.

I have come to the conclusion at this point the problem is iether with,
Adobe , or IE7. At first I thought it would be Mcafee, but the same happens
on two other systems using panda, norton.

What version of Adobe are you using?

Well I think I have found the problem, when downloading Adobe 8.1 from the
site, mcafee recognizes  the executable as a virus, but allows it to download
and install, I think this has something to do with mcafee, the funny thing is
Adobe works with Netscape Navigator with no problem.

Thanks.  Sounds like System Guard feature.  Registry changes may trigger it.

The risks from deploying untested software updates were recently highlighted
when antivirus software maker McAfee Inc. released a signature update (DAT
4715) for five of its antivirus products that inappropriately flagged many
executable files as being the W95/CTX virus. As a result, numerous files were
quarantined or deleted (depending on antivirus program settings).
