my files that i saved previously with officexp wont open in microsft works on my new vista os. do i have to install office 2003/2007? What files for what programs in office? You need to have some program installed that can read the files. If they are from Office XP you need to install Office XP or higher, although Office XP doesn't totally work on Vista, or else install the free Open Office.
