Hi!  I'm hoping someone can help me.  There have been a few times when I'm
online and suddenly when I try to scroll down the page, it continues
scrolling on its' own and is literally uncontrollable.  At the same time, a
cursor appears in the search bar and scrolls across by itself.  Very werid,
and makes me wonder if I have a virus, or spyware on my computer already.
I've only had this computer for less than a month, so I hope not!

Any info. anyone can offer would be appreciated. Thansk!

It happenes if you click the mouse wheel down, which you were probably doing
while scrolling

You have not got a virus, serious problem, check out the mouse setting,
slowing down your scrolling speed may help, there is nothing really wrong.
Just click on the 4 sided figure that appears and scolling will stop.

I have changed the mouse settings, and it made no difference.  Also, there is
no four-sided box that appears.  I am just about at my wit's end with this.
It's happening too often.  See my above reply to Slim Rabbit.  Any other
suggestions?  I need to get this fixed a.s.a.p, because it's interfering in
my abiltity to view websites, email, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I do not use the wheel, and would know if I
was.  That's not what's causing it.  At the same time, a cursor will move by
itself across the address bar, search bar, etc.  In Inbox, it selects an
email by itself, and won't let me select the email I want to see.  I have
tried shutting everything down and re-booting and that doesn't seem to make
any difference.

Sometimes this happens if you are scrolling with the mouse wheel and the
wheel gets stuck between indents.

With some mice, if you click on the scroll wheel and then pull up or down the screen goes into a
auto scroll.
The speed of the scroll is a function of how far down or up you pull the mouse.
The visual cue for when you have set this is circle with a double headed arrow in it.
Click on the scroll wheel again to cancel the auto scroll.
