Hello,

Can any recommend an offline read for IE7 that is just a plug in ?

I would like to cache serveral pages of information for our `on the
road` engineers.

Thanks

Rob

Have you tried saving the webpages in question?

No .. not really...saving the web pages would be time comsuming.

The requirement ...

We have serveral engineers out on the road who from time to time
connect to our website via 3g mobile cards. The website contains a
list on their jobs they should attend during the day. they can drill
down on each job to get the complete details.

What I would like to happen .. When they connect to the internet is
for all the web pages (jobs + their details) to be cached so the
engineer can get all the details they require when out of signal for
example.

regards

Rob

So, just ensure that those pages are cacheable.
Then to look at one again while disconnected
all an engineer would have to do is set  Work Offline  (Alt-F,W)
before trying to open the URL.

Hint:  you can test if a page is fully cached by loading it, then setting
Work Offline then cloning it, e.g. press Ctrl-N.   If it's cached you won't
be prompted to connect.

Good luck
