When I click on a file link Windows opens up a small window that asks "Do you
want to open or save this file" with below "Open, Save, Cancel".  If I chose
"save" it would save the file to the folder that I chose and then, after the
downloading was completed, that same window would give me the option to
"open".  Now I don't have that option... that small window closes after the
download is completed.  I would like that option back.  Any help would be
appreciated.  Thank You!

See:
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFAQ.htm#confirmopen
"Not prompted to specify the download directory".

To get the download dialog box, enable the "confirm open after download"
option for that file type:

1.  Open Windows Explorer
2.  Then click [Tools] [Folder Options] [File Types]
3.  Scroll down to locate the file type.
4.  Highlight the file type (example :"PPT Microsoft PowerPoint
Presentation")
5.  Click the "Advanced" button.
6.  Enable the option "confirm open after download".

Computer".

Hope this helps.

Solution!!
I found out what to do!!  While the file is downloading make sure that the
"Close this dialog box when download completes" box is 'unchecked'.  You
will then have the options of - Run - Open Folder - and Close!   Thanks for
posting though!!
