I am not able to use IE. I keep getting 'service not available'. This is
not so because my other browser works fine. I have VISTA OS. I have
cleared all files, cookies, etc and still it will not work. Does anyone have
any ideas. It worked fine last week. Well, pretty good any way. IE is much
slower than my other browser. But with VISTA I can't get my gadgets to work
because they use IE.

Is IE your Default Browser? If not, set it to default in Tools>Internet
Options>Programs>Click Make Default under Default Web Browsing

Try Resetting the Browser - Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Tab>Reset Button

Try Tools>Internet Options>Connections Tab
Click on Lan Settings
Check Automatically Detect Settings
