I just bought a new computer with vista pre-installed. I am also running
firefox but a few of the sites i frequent are not supported. explorer seems
to connect for updates but not for surfing. I've spent two days now trying to
solve this problem even reinstalling windows from my back up disk... and
still anytime I hit
ANY ie7 icon an error message comes up saying that ie7 has stopped working and
when I hit the check online for solution button it just closes... and no
solution. can anyone help? I am about to smash my monitor

Uninstall FF.
Try to reset IE7.
Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab | Reset Internet Explorer settings,
click on to 'Reset...'
Then disable all add-ons, proceed with browsing, if ok, enable add-ons one
by one. If IE7 is working download and re-install FF.
Good luck :)
