hello i hope someone could help me in this issue i never used to have it
before i run explorer 7 and since two days every time i want to log on the
gmail page i get this message ;-   this page contains both secure and
nonsecure items , do you want to display the nonsecure items ...i click yes
inorder to get to gmail and it opens ...i never faced this problem before and
ts annoying and solutions pls ??? or as to why ? or how can i solve it ..

Windows version?

Had you added the Gmail page to Trust Sites zone? (Just a question, not a
recommendation to do so.)

its window xp version 2002.... mind you i nver faced this problem before
only since two days

To turn off the warning, on the Advanced tab of Internet Properties (IE7 >
Tools > Internet Options), uncheck "Warn about certificate address
mismatch".

It's also possible that some the address of some item that Gmail wants to
display is in his Trusted zone. For example amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, and
amazon.fr are all in my Trusted zone and if I go to a normal (non-Trusted)
page that pulls information from one of those, I'll get that "secure and
non-secure items" warning.

True, but that's not what OP posted.
