IE7 gets closed if close any of the tabs

If i have opened multiple windows in IE7 and by any chance i have to close
any of the windows, the entire set gets closed.

An message pops up saying ' Internet Exp has encountered a problem and needs
to close'

Hello,

have you tried starting IE without add-ons? [Windows-key] + R ->
iexplore -extoff -> Enter
Will the error happen again?

It shows it is IE7(without Add ons). I am just wondering on how does the
error occur along with message pop up. Should i disable the option that it
neednt close all the tabs when i close just one of the tabs

There is no such option.
You didn't say whether or not the problem still occurs when you open IE
without add-ons.

Open IE7> Tools>Internet Options>Tabs>Settings.

And make up your mind how you want windows to be opened there.
