Hi Everybody.

IE7 on Vista won't play videos online.
Security settings are default, play web media content is activated and the
program defaults are set to IE7 and Windows Media Player.
IE7 is the only installed browser.
By the way, this PC was purchased yesterday and this wasn't working right
from the start.
Please give me some advise.

Thanks in advance,
Tommy

Can you give an example of a web site that won't play videos?  Depending on
the video type, you may require a plug-in.  For example, YouTube or Google
Videos require the Adobe FlashPlayer plug-in.

Hi.

Thanks for your reply.
It's on all the websites.
Flash movies are playing fine, only files that use to play with Windows
Media Player won't play like asf or mpeg, wma etc.
The Media Player add on is enabled in IE7.
I really can't figure it out.
If you got an idea please let me know.

Thanks again,
Tommy

You were asked to provide a web site that is giving you trouble.
Generalizations don't help us help you.

........ok,then here is a link:

But as I told you it doesn't matter because It's not just a certain website
where this won't work, it's all of them and it's only Media Player content
that won't play.
Flash movies (swf) plays without problems.
I don't know yet about Quick Time or Real Player but I have a Microsoft PC
and want that at least their stuff works.......
