I am so frustrated, almost to the point that I want to re-install IE6..... it
worked before, it doesn't now....

I've tried to use the flashpalyer_9_ax_debug, unistalled flash, re-installed
it, you name it.....  I've done it.... even tried to work on Register..... no
luck....

I have windows XP, SP2.....  the inrteresting thing is that it works on my
laptop.... windows XP, SP2....  what must I try next?

Please help.... I've spent hours....

Regards
Toni

Hi Toni,

You will have to work out what is different between your laptop and desktop.

Possible causes are

Firewall/anti-virus software can block advertising and flash animations.
Company computers sometimes block flash on their networks to decrease
bandwidth usage (consult your system administrator)
Check your setting "Play animations on web pages" setting on the Advanced
tab of Internet Options.
Check that the site has not been placed in the Restricted sites zone and
that if the flash animations are played in a popup window that your popup
blocker is allowing scripted windows (for the site)

Regards.

Hi Toni,

I think this problem is more common with the IE 7. Just because the previous
version of the Flash is not working properly with the IE 7

You can Uninstall the Flash from the following link.

http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe

Open the folder %windir%\system32\macromed\flash folder & Remove Damaged or
Unknown active X objects

Download and Install Windows Script Engine 5.6 and restart if required

Download and Install the flash active x installer
Download Link:

I am very sure that this should fix the Problem

And for now i feel IE 7 is one of the best browsers that can be used. More
features than the IE 6 and Mozilla.

Thanks,
Anish
