I was running IE7 and everthing was working fine, my norton system works
expired and I did not have security software for about a week then I added
Norton 360, I runn XP. the last week my computer has been very slow with on
the internet and I have earthlink DSL at 6 to 8 download speeds. I'm having
IE7 stop, very slow, freezes up and the taskm mgr running at 100% there seems
to be svshost running high and this iexplore.exe running at 100% of the cpu
speed? I've read that this could be the problem and I was trying to fix, when
I'm on my myspace site if I start clicking around I can't and it just freezes
up and I have to end session in the task mgr, it seems to be this
iexplore.exe? I here that if a true MS IE7 it should be in Caps and my is in
lower case, I think this is the problem but I can't fix this!!! can someone
help me? I uninstalled IE7 and it went back to IE6 and it seems to be working
just fine. I scared to go on my myspace site until I get this fixed. Please
help?

Disable Norton 360 to see if your problems disappear. It's the likely
suspect. I have removed it on several computer club member's computer to
resolve similar problems. Installed the free AVG Anti-virus from
http://free.grisoft.com  Get you money back from Symantec.

An unprotected computer can get infected in a matter of seconds, and
yours was unprotected for a week.
