when i receive an email from an information service and click to open the
second page the page opens but after 30 or 40 seconds a message appears on
the screen that internet explorer cannot open the page and the process is
aborted. the page becomes frozen and when i click to acknowledge the message
the screen disappears. but internet had already opened the page and then the
process gets aborted. how can this problem be corrected.

Hi

Probably I believe this link is actually trying to download or install
something on the computer. While opening any links on the IE. It will not
give the message process is aborted. But it will give the similar kind of
message while trying to Install some softwares.

So check what is that url and look whether any software is being installed
from that link.

If so we need to look deep into the software.

thank you for your ntocie, anish, but that is not what's happening here. it
happens every time i open the second page of an email from that info service.
there's no suggestion of anything being downloaded, just the "aborted"
message.
