internet explorer 7 not responding in windows xp sp 2

almost everytime i go to a web site it does not load  and says is not
responding what is the problem , have redownloading everything i can think of
. still same problem

Hi,
First clear your Temporary Internet Files from Internet Options> General>
Browsing History> Delete> (next screen) Delete files. Also, set the size of
the cache to 60-80 MB... Internet Options> General> Browsing History>
Settings.

Next, you may have an incompatible browser add-on.
