When I attempt to open IE7, in the address box it says searching, owever,
nothing comes up at all. No error, no page can't be opened, nothing, its just
a white page that will simply stay there until I close it. I will have to
restart my computer and then it will open up fine.

Hi New,

Open up Internet Options from the Control Panel (Start>Settings>Control
Panel>Internet Options) and on the General tab of Internet Options you will
find your Homepage settings. Select the 'Use Blank' option.

If that does not work, open IE in no-addons mode (Start>(All)
Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Internet Explorer (no Addons)

If that then works then it will be an addon toolbar that you have installed
that is causing the problem... To find the problem toolbar is a bit
tricky... But you can disable all addons either from the Tools>Manage Addons
menu or in Tools>Internet Options... Advanced tab, uncheck 'Enable
third-party browser helpers'.

If you know of the download sites from where you installed the toolbars
from, check with the vendors for updates for their products.

Regards.
