I accidently sorted the favorites list on my PC. However my girlfriend has
them in a particular order that she liked. Can I restore the original order
or am I stuck with an alphabetical list.

Hi,

I am sure you can re-arrange them in the order in which you require but
there are possibilities that you might not be able to do that

for this you have to create a registry

Please make sure you create a system restore point before trying to make any
changes on the registry

=> Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then press
ENTER.

=> In Registry Editor, locate and click the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\MenuOrder\Favorites\Link

=> In the right pane, right click the Order value, and then click Delete.

If the above value does not exist:

Right Click on the blank space on the right hand side and
Create new BINARY value named "Order".

Note You must restart your computer for these changes to take affect,

make sure that you Keep the Order in same way i had typed in. CAPS should be
CAPS and Small letters should be small.

Lets see whether this works. If you have any other queries please let me know.

Thanks,
Anish
